Rev. Dr. Paul David Tripp
Rev. Dr. Tripp’s book is great in terms of content. He shares much of his experience as both a Pastor and a Pastor to Pastors. This ought to be required reading in Pastoral Self Care & Church Administration classes in seminary.
However, the book is quite repetitive. There are times I yelled “Okay dude, I got it! I need accountability and the call to the ministry isn’t mine alone, it’s God’s! Bro, I heard you the first couple of times!”All in all, it is an useful tool in the ministry box for clergy and those who want to understand the plight of the clergy person.
